Tea and Make(up)

I used to blog at least once a week, now it seems to be an annual rarity.   Life just takes over though doesn't it?   Last time I blogged, I'd been to see Busted, been filling my skin with wonderful illustrations and had been treating myself to numerous Lush bath bombs.   Well, I saw Busted again in February in Birmingham, had my left arm filled up by the magical Kate Selkie in August and have continued pampering myself with Lush goodies.   A few more things have happened too...

I am now a certified Makeup Artist! I left my job in December and took the plunge!   Now it's time to get out there and start making a living from it!   Here's a little iPhone snap of my final look (which was professionally photographed- I'll get the pictures in a few weeks) and some 2nd and 3rd degree burns that I did!   I've set up an Instagram and Facebook page for my work- both are @harveywilliamsmua

The sun has started to appear here and there and the evenings being lighter longer is makes me dream of summer!   This beautiful Mimosa tree behind my house looked glorious the other day!

Little funny-faced cups of tea and unicorn poop cupcakes with lovely people keeps me smiling.   The thought of exciting things to come keep me going.  

Lush keeps me feeling like a mermaid!
